The answers to common web 2.0 issues
We are now at part 5 of our 5-part training series “How to get highly targeted traffic with web 2.0″. Web 2.0 can seem complex at times and you probably can’t figure out why things are not working out as you expected. To help with this, we’ve put together the concerns faced by Web2.0 marketers so that they can overcome them easily.
Here are these concerns:
Why Isn’t There Enough traffic?
‘Enough traffic’ is a relative term, depending on your website topic and your target market. For all you know, a couple of hundred visitors to your site may be all you need. So consider these while measuring the traffic.
Check whether your website promotion is done well. To get traffic your website must have a lot of exposure. Perhaps you need to check the ads that you run on your site to see whether they are all performing as you expected.
Your website must be properly optimized for search. For this you need to know the keywords and phrases used by your visitors so that you can use them to get search engine traffic. If your keywords are not relevant, then you may not get sufficient traffic.
If your site’s page rank is too low, the right people may not find your site.
Check whether other websites are linking to you. Depending on what you find, you can run a blog or post articles to article directories to build one-way links.
Why Aren’t People Interested In My Products?
When you feel people aren’t interested in your product, check if you have enough website traffic. Sometimes people are interested in a product do not find relevant information about it. You need to promote your products properly to let people know about it.
Find out whether you are focusing on the right market through your website. Check again whether your keywords are the right ones and also find out which keywords are being used by the visitors to your site.
To get people interested in your product, you must target the right market with your website.
Check to see whether your website is attractive enough. A website that is not designed well can actually drive traffic away.
Double-check to see if you are targeting the right market. Offer plenty of information about your product so that prospective customers are convinced to buy from you.
When Advertising Campaigns Don’t Work
Check to see if your ads are being displayed properly. Hopefully, you are not making false claims about your product. Nothing can sell a bad product.
When You Feel That Your Customers Don’t Trust You People tend to be choosy. If you are not being honest about your product, you could be banned. You need a close relationship with your customers. You can build this relationship with a blog preferably with personalized content.
You need to listen to your customers’ feedback and suggestions for your improvement.
That brings us to the end of our training series. But for you, this is only the beginning of your highly traffic campaign. You can learn many more ways to capitalize on the web 2.0 phenomenon and launch your way to success. Do it right away at Web 2.0 Stampede.
