How to “sabotage” your own success

Last week we talked about relaxing and listening to yourself.

Listening to your ‘gut’…

Let’s talk today about how you can easily “sabotage” your own success.

Let’s be clear on one thing before proceeding: No one is preventing you from succeeding. That’s right — no one is standing in your way… not your father, your mother, your brother, your friends, your spouse, your kids, your boss, your co-workers… NO ONE — except YOU.

Other people succeed. You can succeed. Period. End of story.

The only thing stopping you is YOU.

So, let’s talk about how you can easily “sabotage” your own success…

If you talk openly about your “big” plans for opening and succeeding in your own business you are telegraphing an important message to everyone you mention it to: You’re looking for them to approve of your plans. You’re LOOKING for approval without realizing it.

What else does it telegraph? You have no confidence in yourself.

The first step in succeeding is either to keep your plans to yourself or discuss them only with trusted advisors and partners who are as successful as YOU want to be.

If other people say you cannot do it (especially family members or friends), you empathize with their point of view but you pretty much you ignore them…

Uh, uh… ignore them, nicely, but ignore them.

If they say you’re a dreamer, you’re un-realistic… it means then that you have talked too much about your plans and wasted your energy.

Let’s be really blunt here. It’s pretty hard to convince someone that you can make your living online if you haven’t done it yet!

So don’t try to convince them! You are wasting your energy.

Frankly, I never depended on other people for any kind of emotional or other support when it came to my online venture because I probably would have been met

Listen to Yourself

Do what’s right for YOU.

You can read ebooks and listen to audio interviews and watch pc-videos all day long and still not be able to get something going online.

You’re stuck and you don’t know why.

Relax, do what is right for YOU. No one else can tell you what is right for you, success is a personal journey everyone of us has to make inside of ourselves.

Most of the information you need to successfully start an Internet business is available, so why do most people still fail?

Here’s something very, very important… everything you need to make money online or offline is available to you right now… the problem is, “who do you trust?” and “what do you believe?”.

Relax, do what feels right in your GUT.

You are right to be cautious… but don’t confuse being cautious with being prudent.

Sometime the most prudent thing to do is to take action even when you do not have all the facts…!

Just getting started is the best course of action.

Pick a target and shoot! If you miss the target, you move on to the next one.

I guarantee you one thing: doing nothing will get you one thing: NOTHING.

Taking action toward your what you want will always win… even if you start wrong, it’s better than sitting still.

As you move toward something you create ‘course corrections’, refine your strategy, learn from your mistakes but YOU KEEP ON MOVING.

In a world with almost infinite possibilities and infinite options people are more CONFUSED about ‘what to do’ than ever before.

Relax, ask yourself, “what’s the right thing for me to do now?”. Talk to yourself like your best friend. Be your best friend.

There are hundreds of Internet marketers selling ‘how to’ courses and programs. Each one teaches you ‘how’ they did it…

I’ve personally spent in excess of $55,000 or more on these types of programs looking for answers.

I learned a lot but I did not use all of the information they taught me.

Just because I did not succeed with their program, does that make them a “liar” or a “scam artist”?

No, the fault is with me. I did not follow what they taught, in some cases I didn’t even try.

Did they let me down?

No, I let myself down. I never followed through. The onus is on me, no one else to succeeed.

No one else can tell you what is right for you, success is a personal journey everyone of us has to make inside of ourselves.

If we suceced, it’s because we listened to our ‘gut’ and took action, if we fail, it’s because we didn’t listen to our inner voice of wisdom and guidance.

Listen to yourself more and trust yourself. There’s much to be learned from turning inswards.

This is absolutely CRITICAL for you to understand if you are going to succeed in your own business today…
