new publishing opportunities – interviewed by Charles Amith

As I’ve mentioned in the last couple of posts, there are new publishing and marketing opportunities that most people online right now are not even aware of…

Now, Charles Amith from FASTmembershipsites.com interviewed me recently and I revealed some stuff I probably shouldn’t have like,

* How I *really* built my 7 figure business
* What strategies I used to use that aren’t so effective anymore online (strategies that many marketers are still using today)
* Updated marketing strategies for today’s business environment
* How to promote your products and services offline
* A little known tactic to boost the connection with your visitors through copywriting
* Why email marketing isn’t as effective and what I’m doing now to build my list
* A common offline lead generation strategy that many people are doing wrong…and learn how to do it the right way!
* …and much more!

new opportunities in marrying offline and online publishing and marketing

My last post gave you some background about how I feel in love with publishing.

As much as I love it, it’s not easy coming up with new ideas… but the opportunity now is better than ever to start a publishing venture.

First, let talk about the Internet.

Publishing online has made me a lot of money. If you’d like to peek at my tax returns for my online company for the last 3 years, click here.

Even though there’s a lot of money to be made in online publishing, there’s even more to be made in marrying offline and online publishing and marketing.

The reason for this new opportunity has to do with something called “Internet fatigue” and/or “Internet backlash” (click here to read more about it).

And Techdirt states that “… there’s even some evidence of that internet growth is actually slowing down. If anything, he suggests that broadband ISPs would probably be better served encouraging greater usage, because it looks like the growth rates aren’t keeping up with what they once were.

This is a relatively new trend… but not totally un-expected.

Think of your own Internet usage. Has it increased or decreased in the last 6 months?

If it’s increased, you’re now in the minority.

That’s not to say people are not online – everyone is online. But they are having trouble keeping up with their social obligations in their social media conversations and one forum I visited agrees that most of the messages they receive are pure junk and have little value.

This new trend of Internet fatigue presents opportunities for the astute marketer. Using offline strategies to drive online traffic and sales as well as positioning yourself offline as an ‘expert’ becomes imperitive.
